Wireless Hacking Tools


1) Aircrack-ng:

       Aircrack-ng is a complete suite of tools to access wifi network security.
It focuses on different areas of wifi network security. 
• Monitoring
• Attacking
• Testing
• Cracking: Wep and Wpa Psk (Wpa1 and Wpa2)


2) Airjack:

    Airjack is a famous wifi injection tool that captures the packets over a wifi network. Airjack is designed and developed to run with linux. It comes under some different names like packet injection tool, WLAN jack and kracker jack. Its few common uses are DDOS attacks and MITM attacks.


3) Kismet:

    Kismet is a wireless "detector, sniffer and intrusion detection system", and one of the growing list of essential open source tools for computer network security professionals. Kismet runs on any POSIX- complaint platforms, including windows, MAC OS X, and BSD but linux is the preferred platform because it has more unencumbered RFMON- capable drivers than any of others. 


4) Netstumbler:

     The Netstumbler tools is a windows based tool generally used to discover WLAN networks running on 802.11 a/b/g standards. It helps detect other networks that may cause interference to your network, and is generally used for wire driving purposes by attackers. It can also find out poor coverage areas in the WLAN network, and helps the administrator setup the network the way it is intended to be.


5) inSSIDer:

   The inSSIDer is a wifi optimization and troubleshooting tool. It scans for wireless networks with your wifi adaptor so, you can visualise their signal strength and what channels they are using. 

inSSIDer is great for: picking the best channel for your access point, performing channel-planning on a multiple-ap network, avoiding interference, optimising wireless networks, locating Access points, and locating talkative client.
