Why life goes on Fast | Faster | Fastest

Sitting in the back of a car, by the window, seeing all the big brightly lit building passing by. I smile to myself reminiscing how things were different when I was a kid. When having a landline was a luxury. Waiting for your friends to call, using code language for stuff we did not want our parents to know, that increased heartbeat after a missed call. When we calculated and re calculated the minimum amount in which we could give a treat in the school canteen. Thinking of th ousand different ways to ask our parents for money. That excitement of covering all your books and copies neatly, the day they are bought. The first scolding and dose of adult talk when parents flip discovering that you have a boy/girl friend. The big smile on being the class monitor. Bigger smile while asking the class monitor to erase your name from the black board. The swears you make your siblings abide to, to keep their mouth shut in front of your parents. The notes in between the copies to convey what you ...
